Frequently asked questions
Every product page lists its material — typically PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA or nylon — along with weight and dimensions. If you need a specific material for your application, ask us before ordering.
Automatically, and always in your favor. We measure every item, work out the smallest combination of boxes your order fits into, then compare USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate against live UPS rates. Checkout shows every option with the cheapest one already selected.
Most orders go out within 2–3 business days. Made-to-order items may take longer; the product page will say so.
Yes, we ship internationally — but please contact us for a shipping quote before ordering, since online checkout only calculates rates for US addresses.
Usually. Send dimensions, a drawing or a model file and we'll quote it. We handle one-offs and small production runs.
No. Unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, our products are not FAA-approved or PMA-certified parts and are not intended for type-certificated aircraft. They're made for experimental, hobby, shop and non-flight-critical use, at the builder's discretion.
Yes. Card details go directly to Square over an encrypted connection and are never stored on or seen by our servers.
Shipping
We ship USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate and UPS from Connecticut. At checkout we price both and pre-select whichever is cheapest for your specific order — including splitting items across multiple smaller boxes when that beats one large one.
- USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate — typically 1–3 business days, tracking included.
- UPS — Ground through Next Day Air, rated live for your address.
- Handling time — 2–3 business days before hand-off to the carrier.
- International — available by quote; email us first.
Once a package leaves our hands, delivery timing is up to the carrier. We'll always help you chase a lost or delayed package.
Returns & damage
All sales are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, wrong-size ordering or buyer's remorse. There are two exceptions, and in both we make it right:
- Your item arrived damaged.
- We shipped you the wrong item.
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and its packaging, and we'll replace it or refund you in full — your choice. Shipping charges aren't refundable outside of these two cases.
Terms of service
By placing an order with Printed.Aero you agree to the following.
Orders and payment
All prices are in US dollars. Payment is captured at checkout and processed by Square, Inc. We never see or store your card number. We may cancel and refund any order affected by a pricing error, stock problem or suspected fraud.
Product use and suitability
Products are sold for the uses described on their listings. Unless a listing states otherwise, they are not certified aviation components. You are solely responsible for determining whether a part is fit for your application and for complying with any regulations that apply to your use.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of use, property damage or lost profits.

Intellectual property
Product designs, photographs and site content belong to Printed.Aero and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Privacy policy
What we collect. When you order we collect your name, email address, shipping address and optionally your phone number. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Square and never reach our servers. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, timestamp).
Why we collect it. Solely to fulfill your order: taking payment, printing a shipping label, emailing your receipt and handling support. Our legal basis is performance of the contract you enter when you place an order.
Who we share it with. Only the parties needed to complete your order — Square (payments), USPS and UPS (delivery), and our hosting provider (DreamHost). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising, and we don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.
How long we keep it. Order records are retained as long as required for accounting and tax purposes, then deleted.
Your privacy rights
GDPR — EU, EEA and UK residents
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, have it erased, receive a portable copy, and to object to or restrict our processing of it. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Email orders@printed.aero to exercise any of these; we'll respond within 30 days.
CCPA/CPRA — California residents
You have the right to know what personal information we collect and why (see above), to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, to limit use of sensitive personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so there is no opt-out to offer. To make a request, email orders@printed.aero from the address on your order — that's how we verify identity — and we'll respond within 45 days.
Cookies
We use exactly one cookie: a session cookie that remembers what's in your shopping cart. It's required for the store to work and expires when you close your browser. We use no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. Square may set its own cookies on the payment form to prevent fraud, governed by Square's privacy policy.
